I liked non-fiction more because it gives you facts and it is harder to come up with voices. Another thing I liked was that there wouldn't be a dragon or monster that you would have to make up a fairytale voice. But the bad thing was that there was a lot of narrating.
I love readers theater bcause it is fun and you get to make people laugh. I wish we can do it every year.
I'm sad that there is only going to be 1 more readers theater left because I just love readers theater and I don't want it to end.
I can't wait to make our own script. I can't wait to see what books we get to use. Hopefully it will be
non-fiction.

fiction vs nonfiction
I liked fiction more because it was easier coming up with a voice than nonfiction. Another good thing was that I got more into my character than nonfiction. I also liked the story more. One bad thing would be I wasn't a narrator. I didn't get as many lines as I wanted.
I used to not like to do readers theatre . Now I love doing readers theatre. I like it because it help me become a better reader. I wish we could do more.
I didn't like nonfiction as much because it was more boring. I didnt understand the script as much. I also thought that the topic was better in fiction. That is just my opinion on Fiction vs Nonfiction.

Fiction Reader's Theatre Script vs Nonfiction Reader's Theatre Script by: Sheefa
I seem to like fiction Reader's Theatre Scripts more because it is more fun to create the pictures because you don't have to be absolutely accurate in the pictures. But in the fiction books, you don't have to be perfect. You can draw anyway you want to. Another reason I like the fiction scripts is because that when you do your performance, fiction stories have more humor in them, so you don't bore your audience and you fixed the mood of your audience! So it's like killing two birds with one stone. One last reason I like fiction scripts is that the voices are easy to come up with because you just have to come up with a silly voice and BOOM! There you have it. Your new voice. And that's why I like fiction scripts. -Sheefa
Fiction Reader's Theater Script VS. Non fiction Reader's Theater Script
I like fiction Reader's Theater scripts ,because the fiction scripts are more fun and exciting to hear. They also work well with all grade levels because they are so much easier to understand like The True Story of the Three Little Pigs by Jon Scieszka. He wrote the book so well and even makes people laugh! One thing I dislike about fiction Reader's Theater scripts is that they can be a little too silly at times but that still doesn't keep me from doing the script. Non fiction Reader's Theater is just not as exciting so they may bore your audience in a way ,but the scripts are educational so you are learning some facts too! Just like in one of Melissa Stewart's Reader's Theater scripts Under the Snow script was actually exciting this script made the animals come alive and talk. I really like both types of scripts so it's a tie for me! Emma
Fiction vs.Nonfiction Readers theater
I think I enjoyed fiction readers theater more than nonfiction more. You can make up silly voices for your character(s).If your character(s) are nonfiction, you cannot make voices that don't match your characters.Fiction books ae made up,but nonfiction books are real facts. This time we used the nonfiction book When Rain Falls.by:Melisa Stuart.Last time we used the book The Three Little Pigs.by:James Marshall.

Fiction vs. Nonfiction Readers Theater
Well, from my opinion I think Nonfiction Readers Theater is more fun because it is more interesting and factual. In Fiction Readers Theater it's more fantasy like. I do like both, but to me Nonfiction Readers Theater is my favorite. It has been very cool to work with both. Also, another reason I like Nonfiction ReadersTheater is because you get to learn something newevery time you read it. In Fiction Readers Theater it is exciting!I have had a very fun expierience with them both! I'm sure the others have too!

Fiction Vs. Nonfiction
Under The Snow and When Rain Falls are the two books we have been doing. They are nonfiction books but, when the author wrote the two books they were meant to be nonfiction. Which is real and has no animals talking. Mostly kid books are fiction because, fiction books are more fun. If you are doing research a nonfiction book is your best friend. Be for I go I want to talk about... Podcasting! I love podcasting because, it is like you can express your self in words and sounds. That is all I have to say.

fiction vs. nonfiction
I like nonfiction script better because while you are having an amazing time you are learning great things.I liked Under the Snow and When Rain falls because I love nonfiction books about animals. The reason I don`t like fiction is because they are not true.I like rehearing because I love to learn! In the two books tells what animals do when it rains and when it snows.

Fiction vs. Nonfiction
Fiction and nonfiction are both wonderful, but I like fiction better. With a fiction text, there seems to be more creativity and your own style. However, fiction stories can easily get thrown off course without proper narration. In a nonfiction text, they have facts that narrators say, but usually no characters. It's harder to create dialog between characters. I personally like fiction books better, because you can create a voice and really make your character come to life. Nonfiction books are harder to create a voice with. You don't have to have a voice, but it makes the story more intriguing. Whether you like fiction or nonfiction, reading is still a blast!

Fiction vs Nonfiction
Okay what is the difference between nonfiction and fiction? Well nonfiction is like the story we did in Readers Theater called Under the Snow by Mellisa Stewart it talks about real things that happen when it snows. Fiction is like the book we did called The Three Little Pigs by James Marshall. That book is about a talking wolf and three talking pigs, now does that sound real? Today we did a podcast on the two nonfiction books both by Melissa Stewart the one I did was called Under the Snow, the other one we did was called When Rain Falls. Some of my favorite books are realistic fiction like The Boxcar Children. My favorite
between those three would be realistic fiction because if it is sad then I know that it didn't really happen.

Fiction v.s Nonfiction
I think that a fiction Reader's Theater is better than a nonfiction Reader's Theater because I just like it when we have freedom of our voices. In nonfiction Reader's Theaters we have to create a voice that would most likely sound like that person/animal. I don't think we really have to do that in a fiction Reader's Theater. One thing that I love about Reader's Theater is that even though I like fiction Reader's Theaters better, we do nonfiction and fiction and that makes me a little more comfortable with nonfiction Reader's Theaters.
The podcast today was ( I think ) ALOT better than the last one. We finally got to listen to ourselves. I think I sounded pretty good and so did everybody else.

Nonfiction Readers Theater vs. Fiction Readers Theater
Well, in the fiction script, we got to have fun characters and narrators! We also drew fun pictures that could look like whatever they are!!! On a podcast, we had no troubles because most of us didn't have voices to worry about and we were all cool with the fact that it was a fantasy story. So, I loved the fiction story!
In the nonfiction story, at first I felt like I would hate this Reader's Theater script because it's nonfiction.Yet, along the way I started liking this book because of my humorous group. When we were podcasting, all of the animals' voices sounded "different." We had a few laughs until the end where we had a HUGE laugh from the end when we made our animal noises. Ryan made wolf voice that took up all of our animal sounds even though there wasn't any wolf in the story! It made an echo sound in the recording. In the end, he became a duck!!This podcast was WAY better than the last one.I'll never forget it.
I really loved both stories from facts to humorous wolves. I loved both of the stories, yet my favorite Reader's Theater I did is the nonfiction text. My favorite part about it would be the fun and laughs I had with my group and most importantly...THE STORY! It was like reading heaven! I should not be taking the credit for this. Here are the names of my group: Kerry, Zoya,AJ,Michael, and Ryan. You guys are awesome!

Fiction vs. Non Fiction
I liked the non fiction script because the dialog was more creative. It was really fun to think about what these different animals would say. It was non fiction but it was fun. The fiction script was also fun but it wasn't educational. The fiction book told more of a story than the non fiction. They were both really fun to do. I really do think that I liked the non fiction script better. I really liked the animal sounds that the author made up. It was a good experience to do both. I cant wait to do readers theater again because I know it will be just as fun as the others.
