How has Reader's Theater changed the way I feel about the reading?

Reader's Theater has changed the way that I feel about reading. It has....
taught me that reading can be fun if...you use fluency. It is a lot
of FUN!!!!!
Now the way I feel about reading is that it is very fun. Some books can be really interesting!!! It is a good way to build up your fluency and help you to want to read infront of an audience. That's all for now.

how has readers theater canged the way you think about reading

Readers theater makes me think a little more about expresion. It makes me like reading more one because I get to read with my friends , and two because when I read silently I think about voices. It makes reading different because it is not as boring anymore.

What do you think of Readers Theater so far?

I think Readers Theater is very fun and really great.I think reading it is cool. Also, I like making a different voice for my character[ narrator 1]. Making that voice was really fun! I think reading different parts with other people makes it feel like a play! I love Readers Theater so far!  -Kerry

What have you learned so far

I learned that you will not get your voice as soon as you get your character(s). I all so learned that you get what you get and you don't pitch a fit!!! I am so glad that I am a narrator because I have to carry out the story. That is why I love  my part.

My thoughts on readers theater

I like readers theater. I like it because it is a different way to read. What I like most about it is I get to do it with alot of my friends. What I like least about it is that there are no cotumes or props. But like I said it is different. Maybe I will like this better. I guess I will find out.

Why is it important to create a voice for your character

I think it is important to have a voice so it will not be boring. It adds some life to the presentation. It should not be your plain regular voice.I got my voice by modifying my silly voice to be less squeaky, but a little bit louder. I can not wait!

Why is it important to create a voice for your character?

My name is Sheefa and I think it is important because if you don't make a voice, the audience will get bored. Plus, when you use a voice it makes it more fun for you and the audience. When I use a voice, it gets silly for me because I make a weird noise sometimes. Reader's Theatre is for using a voice to make the story come alive.Personallly, when I watch a play and they don't use a voice, it gets boring and I don't like it at all. I love Reader's Theatre and I will be looking forward  to continue this awsome experience . That is my response for this question.

I blogging an Angel or Devil

I absolutely love this whole blogging idea because all the people in the WORLD can see my ideas on how I love this blog thing-a-ma-jig. So ANYWAYS,I think blogging is pretty cool with Reader's Theater. My book is the best and I get to share my love and compassion of this book on the Internet. My partners work super hard and have all been my friends in the past and... the present!!! So I pretty much love Reader's Theater. (By the way blogging is an angel!:)

This is What I Think About Blogging

This is what I think about blogging...
I think that blogging is very cool ,but it is also interesting and might help you learn something. Maybe you will create a blog when you get older. I think would like that. What do you think about blogging, think about it would you like to blog like me? I think that you might, depending on what you like.
I like blogging for many reasons, it might be because I like writing things. So, it's something that I enjoy doing in my spare time. I don't write all the time but I do write constantly. I am also enjoying this bye for now.

To Blog?

I am not a big fan of this blogging idea. I think I will have to get used to it though. My least favorite part is how we are given subjects to write about. My favorite part is the part where we get to post it on the internet. I think that am going to like it when I get more used to it. For now it's not my favorite thing to do right now though.

What are your thoughts about Reader's Theater??

I'm the mom so, I have to talk in a cool southernish accent. I think Reader's Theater is a great idea! I mean plays need props and stuff but this only needs you and your voice. Performing will not only be fun but, it helps you with your reading. So I think Reader's Theater is a great idea.

Little Pig let me come in!!!

I'm the Wolf so I have to talk in a crackly Johny Cash(how does he sing like that?!)   voice which hurts my throat. The third little pig talks in a voice so high I try not to laugh after he talks. I think readers theater will be a blast when it comes time to to perform.

My Thoughts About Reader's Theater

I love watching Readers Theater so I am so happy that I am actually doing it.I love my script and can't wait to do Readers Theater for other people .I love doing the different voices.

Are you up for..........?

Sitting at my desk in the late afternoon, I get this mysterious e-mail from the one and only Mrs. Schmidt. I was not sure if I should open it or not but since I have worked with her for a year now, I just knew it couldn't be so bad. I must say she sometimes ropes me into things but I know it just makes me a better teacher ( You know what I am talking about Mrs. Schmidt!!!!) Anyway, when great minds think alike, I opened it and to my wonderful suprise, she poses the question-Are you up for creating a blog with our Reader's Theater Class? After a little thought, I hit reply-and wrote in big letters "SURE-WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS?"

History will be made here as we introduce this idea to you. Just know that Mrs. Schmidt and I are excited to introduce to the World Wide Web. Have fun and enjoy this experience. With Clear Eyes and Full Heart, You Can Not LOSE!

Welcome!

Our reader's theater scripts ready to go!

Welcome students and friends to our reader's theater blog page.

Here our students will  be reflecting on the reader's theater project that we are doing this year in Mrs. Zawacki's fourth grade focus class.  I am Mrs. Schmidt, our schools media specialist and will assist Mrs. Zawacki this year with this part of her class.

This year our students will not only perform prepared reader's theater scripts, but will also create their own scripts and perform them.  We are also hoping to create podcasts and slide shows highlighting what we are doing in class.

Check back often for more posts from Mrs. Zawacki and myself and also from our students on what is going on in our class.
